Service Description

At times, children and adolescents may experience social, emotional or behavioral problems that interfere with their functioning at school and with friends and family. Therapy provides the child or adolescent a safe environment in which to work through the problems, using a variety of techniques. The therapist will also work closely with the child’s parents throughout the process. Our clinicians are Registered Integrative Sand Tray Therapists to where children can use their hands in the sand to help develop an understanding of what may be going on in their minds. Also, our therapist has been trained in Eye MovementDesensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which is an integrative approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma
